    That's not fair. You need to make the sauce yourself. That’s really not cooking. It’s opening a can and using it. Not everyone has access to fancy and expensive sauces anyway. You never mention carbs or sugar either.

    This gave me an idea... After cooking this way, cut into smaller chunks, assemble a pot of ""Grilled Pork-Belly Chili w/ pineapple, onions, and black beans"" to continue a slow simmer, and rendering remaining fats. Humm..Might have to put more thought into ingredients and stuff. But, loving the idea. Thank you for your video.

    I've been only buying hanger steak for a while. It's at least 3 times cheaper than ribeye/sirloin here and it's absolutely delicious. I hope not many people will find out about it so the farm never runs out of it.

    Many restaurants are incorporating activated charcoal in their foods. Burger King in Japan even released a Kuro Burger (kuro means "black") featuring a squid-ink patty on a bamboo-charcoal bun. In the U.S., I’ve seen restaurants serving charcoal waffles for brunch, and scoop shops hawking charcoal ice cream for dessert. Again, because of its potential to irritate the stomach and bind to medications take a pass on this particular flavor fad. First off I don't want a black steak. I want a nice deep brown sear that I am familiar with and gives me an idea of whats going on in there. On the video the steak was clearly overcooked to my liking. It was medium and not even close to medium rare. As a medical professional I will tell you charcoal whether activated or not is not meant for chronic ingestion. Given how much red meat a lot of us eat and the amount of that horrible looking black charcoal you seem to use I'd expect stomach cancer rates will begin to skyrocket in Texas soon.

    American buthers make it look so easy - firstly cuz they got fatass hershey and angus cows! And not the Zebu which is found in Asia and the latin world. And secondly they use frozen meat parts and cut around it as if cutting soft cheese lol!! Try it once and try a Zebu straight out of the slaughter house with blood still oozing out minus any deep freezing. 90% of american soft butchers would fail each time lol, because it is hardest raw -- it's jowly and bubbly and bouncy and spreads all over the place and it is really tough to trim and butcher !! Unlike deep frozen supermarket hershey cow meat which is child's play tbh!!

    I like a 1-2hr open air drying for the pellicle formation. It firms up the fish. Whether or not it benefits the smoking, I have no idea. But the fish is better overall if you do it.
